Are you aged 16 to 18 and looking for an exciting way to develop leadership skills, gain experience, and make a difference in your community?
At The Armoury, we provide a fun and engaging environment where you can develop teamwork, leadership, and resilience. As a Youth Lead, you’ll play an essential role in organising activities, mentoring younger participants, and gaining valuable experience in a supportive setting. Plus, your involvement can count towards the Volunteering section of your Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, helping you achieve your Bronze, Silver, or Gold certification.
What you can do as a Youth Lead
Develop your skills
Assist in planning and leading meetings and activities together with helping to organise trips and events in your area. Increase knowledge and prepare you with valuable life skills.
Leadership Development
Mentor younger members and support their personal development. Gain practical experience in leadership and teamwork. Understanding the value of teamwork is vital in the world of work and learning how to think will be a very powerful advantage in future ventures!
Supporting your community
Take part in community service projects. Gain recognition in your local area as someone who steps up and values the community in which you live and work.
